Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Wanta Basketball ("Wanta", "we"), which runs Wanta Client, the Wanta servers, our Discord and Wanta Access memberships. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.

1. Who can use Wanta

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and must be the one who pays for a membership. You need your own Steam account and your own legally obtained copy of the game you play on Wanta.

2. Your account

You sign in with Steam. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Don't share it, sell it or use someone else's. Linking Discord or Patreon is optional.

3. Fair play and conduct

No cheats, trainers, injectors, exploits, or tools that change the game or our servers. No harassment, hate, threats, scams or impersonating staff. Wanta Client runs fair-play checks while you play (see the Privacy Policy). We can warn, kick, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and reset progress earned unfairly.

4. Wanta Access memberships

• Price and billing. $7 USD per month (or the price shown at checkout), charged by our payment processor, Stripe, when you join and then every month on the same date until you cancel. Taxes may be added where required.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time in Wanta Client (Settings → Account → Wanta membership → Manage). Your perks last until the end of the month you paid for; you won't be charged again.
• Failed payments. If a renewal fails, you keep your perks for 3 days while Stripe tries again. After that they pause until the payment goes through.
• Refunds. See Refunds & cancelling.
• What you get. Members perks are listed on the Wanta Access page. They are a license to use features and items inside Wanta while your membership is active; they have no cash value and can't be transferred. Perks can change; if we remove a main perk you paid for, you can cancel and ask for a refund of the current month.
• Price changes. We'll tell members at least 30 days before a price change, which applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
• Bans. If your account is banned for breaking these terms, we cancel your membership. Banned accounts don't get refunds for the current month.
• Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may pause your membership and account while the dispute is open.

5. Free play and in-game currency

Playing on Wanta is free. VC and items earned or bought with VC in Wanta exist only on Wanta's servers, have no cash value, can't be sold or traded for money, and can be changed or reset to keep the game fair.

6. The service

Wanta is a community project run by a small team. We work to keep it online but can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost. We may change, pause or end parts of Wanta. If we shut down memberships for good, we'll stop billing and refund the unused part of the current month.

7. Content you share

You keep what you create (names, designs, messages). You let us show it inside Wanta and our Discord so the service works. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

8. Not affiliated

Wanta Basketball is a fan community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any game publisher, sports league, team or player. All trademarks belong to their owners.

9. Liability

Wanta is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll post the date above and announce big changes in Discord. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Questions: support@wantaclient.com.
